1.
Wrap the shank with light lead wire from
the bend towards the eye, leaving enough
of a gap by the eye to tie off.
2.
Tie in a few fibre of hare's body fur to
form the tail. Tie in gold ribbing and dub
hare's ear fur on to the thread
3.
Wind the dubbed thread up the shank and
follow up with gold ribbing. (It is not
necessary to use hackle pliers.)
4. Form a head
with the tread and tie off. Pick out fur
to make the fly shaggier. |
