Pictured above is the Ogmore Anglers promotional stand at the Bridgend show on Sat. July 10th 2004, with Storm clouds gathering, it wasn't long before the heavens opened and the whole show became a wash out. Fortunately the weather on Sunday was much improved with many welcomed visitors enjoying the Ogmore stand & show.

 

 

The Ogmore exhibit included fly tying demonstrations, video footage of the Ogmore river, information regarding the many activates the club promotes including river bank restoration and the river cleanup project.

 

Many of the true beauty spots in the Bridgend county are to be found along the river Ogmore.

Many Ogmore anglers clear debris while out fishing, some attend the clubs river clean up meeting, but this is an on going battle.

The Ogmore is the reason Bridgend town exists, let’s treat the river with the consideration it deserves.
