The 59 acre Llanishen Reservoir,
in Cardiff has been one of the best still water
Fly fishing venues in cardiff for over 75 years.
However, if the new proposed development takes place,
this will be reduced to a meager 11 acres. Many
local anglers are outraged at this, as are local
residents, believing it to be the end of this local
amenity.
Anyone who wants to go fly
fishing in Cardiff will have to travel out of the
capital.
The South Wales Echo has
taken issue with the planners and are asking for
written objections to be sent in to the paper, so
that they may forward them all on, to Cardiff County
Council. The contact address is Steve Edwards, South
Wales Echo, Thomson House, Havelock Street, Cardiff,
or email to steve.edwards@wme.co.uk
