I
have recently begun a directory of welsh / world
sewin [seatrout] flies, that began if I'm honest
for my own reference, but would like to expand
on this idea resulting in a complete list of old
and new Sewin flies, too inspire us all, during
the dark winter months, while we dream over the
vice
www.simple-flies-for-simple.fishermen.co.uk
I
have begun to photograph my own sewin
flies, before I lose them in trees etc and place
on the site with tying instructions. Eventually
I would hope to be able to add a complete data
base, recording fish catches to the flies used
etc - does it sounds good so far.
Now,
this is where I would like to invite you to become
involved - as anglers, fly tiers, web
fisherman, share your vast knowledge with others
- help make this new site something to be proud
of and a real interest to sewin fishermen. So
what do you think? How about being apart of this
and sharing some of your examples and tying skills?
Full credit will be awarded to each and every
individual - off course.
I
especially would like to see examples
used on the west Wales rivers / Scotland / Ireland.
If photos are a problem then I would be glad to
arrange this and return all flies immediately.
