During the Ogmore Anglers AGM, on the 23rd Jan. 2003, the OAA club chairman announced the SAP for the Ogmore River had been abandoned, today I received an email from the Environment Agency stating that this is not correct, the email is as follows;

Subject: Re: SAP ogmore river

Can confirm that the Ogmore Salmon Action Plan has not been abandoned as suggested - it is out for consultation at present after which time the final version will be drafted having fully considered whatever views are 'returned' in response to the consultation exercise.

Hence there are still opportunities to influence the final document and it's running to the timescales previously indicated.
