Chris Richards a fellow Ogmore Angler sent
me this image of his first sewin of the 2003 season, a
silver 4lb 5oz fish caught in the scouts pool, on the
9th May. Chirs has also been kind enough to sent us the
fly details which took this creature.....A Rogan's Gadget....
Rogans Gadget was developed by the legendary Irish tyer
Michael Rogan in the 1960's for use as a seatrout attractor
pattern on the Erne estuary in Co. Donegal, this may be
the first ever purpose-designed salt-water fly pattern!
